Jerry Garcia and Merl SaundersJuly 10 1973The KeystoneBerkeley, California16 bit 44.1 versionA+ soundboardA Matt Smith 24bit 96kHz Reel Transfer"Well, I'm not sure on the lineage but I've thought alot about it. It's obviously a multitrack mixdown(gaps between tunes). Some of the JGB stuff from the Debbie Stash are masters(like 6-6-73!!). My best guess of the 7-10-73 is Multitracks(Bob and Betty Ampex MM110)>2 track mixdown MR>R @ 7 1/2 ips.(WB)>DVD. That's what I think it is esp. being a 7 1/2 ips. reel and the dynamics(nice!!). It was probably "working reels" for the original album that Jerry had maybe that he was picking tunes from(?)."Editing and Mastering by Jamie Waddell on the **GEMS** Edit StationWeiss-Saracon for SRC and Pow-r3 Dither to 16 bit 44.1kHzTracked in CDWAV Tag&Rename for Meta_DataTLH for FLAC Level 8 by Patrick White (wharfratpat@shnflac.net)a **GEMS** Production seeded 01-02-10 | www.shnflac.net01. |08:19| Hi-Heel Sneakers02. |07:45| Finders Keepers03. |07:22| The Harder They Come **first version by Garcia04. |06:29| It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry05. |08:06| It's Too Late06. |17:56| My Funny Valentine07. |11:38| Mystery Train08. |12:37| I Second That Emotion09. |10;20| Someday Baby10. |13:48| Merl's Tunes11. |09:55| It's No Use12. |08:04| Positively 4th Street13. |08:12| Encore: How Sweet It Is-tiny reel flaw in HTC-organ runs hot in mix-warble in Merl's Tune-first circulating complete version of this performance
