This, actually, is one of my favorite rock albums but it has been a while since I last played it. Laura,
if you don't have this one yet then run, don't walk, to eBay or Amazon and buy yourself a copy. It has
been out of print for years. I have it on CD and vinyl...either is great (though finding a copy on vinyl
will probably prove very difficult). Even CDs are a little scarce.

Butthole Surfers - Hairway to Steven

While the name of the band and their choice of song titles were rather juvenile, the group
cranked out several good albums in the 1980s. Gibby Haynes and his "Gibbytronix" vocal
effects were bit over the top, but I'm fairly sure that was intentional. This is my favorite
album from the Surfers.
