While perusing the dark corners of my shelves...came across some of my earliest cd purchases, this one is mid 90's on the Nimbus label. Nimbus did right from the getgo with regard to CD technology, better than some of the mainstream labels.

Finzi, Parry and Bridge: An English Suite

This one was probably among the first 10cds I bought, '85 or '86, and the sound is top notch. This one is by Decca on their Editions de L'Oiseau-Lyre label. Unbelievable considering where the mastering world stands now. This sounds almost like vinyl...and I do think I got this on vinyl, I had bought the cd to compare back then, but can't recall whether I ever did...mhnnn. Braincells, snap to it.
