Recorded live at Estival Jazz Lugano, Switzerland on July 7, 2007 on his 75th birthday. THe 2-cd set includes a duet with Wayne Shorter, the 14minute track In a Silent Way, recorded 5 days earlier at another festival, the Veszprem Festival in Hungary. A dvd of the latter festival is due out later this year.
Two months later JW succumbed to cancer. This was his final say.

I wonder if this thread should be renamed "What Are 6-8 AC'ers Listening to Right Now?"

Kidding of course... I am a regular reader and seldom poster on this thread, but for the last 10 or so pages of posts, I noticed that most of them have come from a handful of the same posters. While I would hardly ever discourage anybody from posting what they're listening to (heck, I get lots of ideas for new music from this thread), it would be nice to hear from other AC'ers as well (full disclosure: I have posted several CDs here in the past, but less recently as I have a three-week-old son at home and haven't had time to post as much).

That said, I was just curious why this seems to be the case in a thread where I would expect to see a consistently broad cross-section of contributors. Are the others simply too busy posting in other discussions? Or are they not listening to anything at all or the same demo CD over and over again?

Meanwhile, Happy Listening and Happy Posting ...
