Got a couple a three albums by Woody Shaw myself, Robin. Used to use em auditioning cartridges (and for pleasure). Remember how exciting the Denon 103D of the day sounded on my reference tracks. This musician's life ended tragically. Think he lost an arm on the subway tracks in NY. Think he had big battles with depression if I remember right. Cat could definitely play. Believe I'll try and find an album or two and give a spin. Thanks.

I've also got "A Man About a Horse" and should probably pick up some more of his stuff, as much as I play these two.Jim C
