Blitzen Trapper: Furr (2008)

Vocals on this alternative country rock scenario reminds me of the Beatles for some strange reason.

Dolores O'Riordan - Are You Listening? (2007)
As good -- if not better -- than any Cranberries' release, which it might just as well be.

Lhasa de Sela-  The Living Road.  Very original young songwriter/singer and somebody really likes her a lot.  Montreal is a cutting edge town when it comes to art and here is an example.  The production is first rate with unusual musical back up.  She sings in english, spanish, and french.  Sometimes she is bearing the world on her shoulders and sometimes she is playful.  Enigmatic artist, for sure.  I fully agree with Charivari and his friends that this album is the better of the two available (I also have the other).  Three copies were delivered to me when I thought what I was ordering was one (charged for all three, too).  If anyone would like a copy of The Living Road just shoot me a PM and make me an offer.  Thanks.
