Hey Zy- Andy McKee and Next have an album on Mapleshade that I've touted here before with a guitarist named Ed Cherry called Sound Roots and it's a stone cold blast! Hamiet Bluiett guests on it, too. You oughta hear their arrangement of All Blues. The word dynamic is taken to a whole nuther level! I've seen the one you've got on Amazon. Believe I'll check the samples tonite. Cheers.

It's been 3 or 4 years since I've given Mapleshade a try, Pierre always seemed (to me) to be a strict adherent to the H. Gordon Holt maxim that the quality of audiophile music recordings is inversely proportional to the quality of the music. With two rec's of a particular artist though, I may have to give him another try
