Live Johnny Winter And [LIVE]  lp

There was a thread a while ago http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=48406.0 If johnny winer winter was the best Blues Guitar player? This album was brought up so i picked up the cd well in short the cd sucked (Not Johnny fault). no dynamics  l I picked up a turntable  a little bit ago so i dough out my old vinyl i had packed away. I have been sorting them out not a small task as i have about 500 albums which the latest being about 1980 as i took a little vacation from music (read got drunk and stoned and tuned out for a long time, say about 17 18 years) Hell when i finally got my act together and got a stereo i went to the local record store and there were no records  just these little disk, almost 3000 of them later. I had a copy on vinyl along with about 8 other johnny winter albums.  this 30 year old turntable with a 25 year old grado cartridge put my $1000 cdp and  north star dac to shame  way better

Two Mapleshades auditioning a Stereovox cable.  I know a few of you cats discount this label for a lack of quaity to the music.  I think you mean tightness.  The label's owner and sound engineer is a big fan of spontaneity.  You get it like it is!  Well, here's two that need to get got- Datevik and Sound Roots (for jazz lovers).  Listened to loudly, this is as live, closest table to the stage that I know of.  And there is great rhythmic swinging stuff on both of these.  This ain't MOR jazz, mind you.
