Inspired by ecramer's avatar of the lewdly posing monkey, I just bought this album on vinyl.  It's great! I like Nick Cave, so I assumed this would be OK with me and I was right. Thanks, for the inspiration, Ed. :thumb:

Tenor Madness [ORIGINAL RECORDING REMASTERED]
Sonny Rollins

There's an underground saying in musician's circles that rock musicians play licks and jazz musicians tell stories. Reflect and get back to me w/ Email. Jazz musicians work their asses off practicing 8/10 hours a day for a gazillion years before stepping on stage. Ultimately what you hear , accept and makes YOU happy is all that matters.

This Joni disc looks most interesting.  Is this a good effort or something just for diehard Joni fans?  Are these exact covers or does each artist add a bit of their own flavor to these tunes?

Thanks
