Song Garden is finely recorded with pristine sonics and judicious placement of instruments in the mix depending on the piece and the pace of play

Hey!

  Mark Ronson "Version"

He is the guys behind many popular Brit's artist. Here is his remake album with collab with many Brit's singers. :D

Great music and performances here like "Oh My God" with Lily Allen, "Valerie" with Amy Winehouse and etc.

There is a remake of Britney Spear's "Toxic" with Tiggers and Ol' Dirty Bastard. I don't have the original version but I find this to be fun to listen to.

I have this on domestic vinly LP. As for the sound well like many new album today this seem to suffer over compression. Very unfortunate since I like this album. :D

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

Andrew Bishop, time & imaginary time

Quote
Bishop "views the whole world of sound as his palette, finding inspiration everywhere from Armstrong and Coltrane to Hendrix, Boulez, or Balkan folk Music."

Thomas Stronen, Bobo Stenson, Fredrik Ljungkvist, Mats Eilertsen - parish

Quote
Parish demonstrates many dichotomies. The musicians come from two distinct but related cultures. The music ranges from abstract and angular to defined and lyrical. The approach is equal parts form and freedom. Still, not only do these players share a clear simpatico, but they follow a specific direction from Strønen, who, while still in his early thirties, is emerging as a remarkably inventive and diverse player, writer and bandleader at an increasingly accelerated pace.

Actually, I just got a copy of this one last weekend. I haven't listened to Yello since the early '80's when they were recording with Ralph Records. Baby, Flag, 1 Second and Motion Picture are all supposed to be good.
