Some Young Guy- Tried to listen to samples of "Greyboy" at Amazon and got a message having to do with licensing restrictions. Don't care. Based on what I read, the title (which I haven't heard in a long time), and the album cover, I couldn't resist. Ordered it. I'm salivating.

i put my se-40 amp up for sale this week, which was hard enough. then i thought "hey, you know i've never heard those TungSol KT66's in this amp before...". so, i popped 'em in, biased 'em up and... wow! these were made for this amp! it's been nice having mr. clapton right here, in my living room tonight. maybe i should hold on to this thing a while longer...

Some yung . . sounds good! It's a hassle to change speeds on my TT so when I get an itch to hear something at 45rpm, I listen to more than one: 1) In Formation- Kronos Quartet (RR); 2) L'Histoire du Soldat- Chicago Pro Musica (RR); 3) Charlie Byrd (Crystal Clear). It's been awhile so it's fresh.
