Quiet, dreamy album...I think the 'critics' didn't like most of it...I do, and I am a big fan of Joni M....but wouldn't expect other singers to surpass(or even echo) Joni's original performances on her own compositions, I have JM own original albums for that...those 'critics' need to get the bug out of their asses, free their minds, and their ass may indeed follow the music recorded here and now.
Nice to hear Joni herself on one track. Its a 4-star album for me. Wayne Shorter fits this like a custom tailored suit. He led me to Joni, when I saw him listed on Don Juan's Daughter, the first Joni Mitchell album I bought in the late 70's. Tina sounded great too.

Another crossover singer from the classical world, a la Sarah Brightman.
And the very first track is her interpretation of the theme song from 'Once Upon a Time in the West', my all time favorite western movie. Hey I am already sold...

She has a beautiful voice, and I am already on my second succeeding replay...plus food for the eyes...
