re Quiet Riot - no comment on the music, but that is a truly classic album cover.   Makes me wish I wish I had that on vinyl even though I don't own a record player!

Wow WOlfy, looks like you will be overdosing on piano for the next...3years? Is that how long it will take to audition all those discs...

Not quite dark ambient, not quite electronica...somewhere in between, yes...kinda spacy.

Hey!

NY Audio Rave, '07 CD... thanks Chris :D

Hmmm... track 3 sound very familiar, I've heard that somewhere before. :jester:

BTW... JoshK's track is surprising for me. If I didn't his name after it. I wouldn't have guessed that is his selection.  :o

But than again there are some musics that you guys wouldn't have guessed that I like to listen too also.

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

Hey Buddy, I just listened to the cd too and the Olive track brought back memories.
Occam Slavic track is very intense...lotsa high energy.
I like Jim's track...very much in the season.
Its a very varied disc.

Yo, Ho . . do you ever sleep?  I, too, am a fan of this thanks to Lonewolfny.  There are some things about this recording that are amazing.  If they could be put together on a realistic stage, we might have a whole new standard of sound and recording excellence of small groups.  Rudy Van Gelder should come to my house.  I get a chance, I'm going to his!  Peep a post as regards this at Industry Talk in a reply to the lone wolf man if you might care to (New! diffractionbegone at Industry Talk).  Keep it up, young brother.

A little souvenier I scored at RMAF.
Most excellent with Neil Larsen, Robben Ford, Jimmy Haslip, & Tom Brechtlein.
Damned tastey if you cotten to such a thing, recorded with Straight Ahead Records "All Live" style.
(Haven't had a chance to taste the vinyl yet!

Woo-Hoo!
