Hey!

I have this album and yes she does have a very sweet voice.

But this album is totally different than her first album the "Love in the Time of science" that came out in late 1999 of which is more of trip-hop/electronic sounds.

It is one of my favorite.

But I also like the "Fisherman's Woman" album too. A different feel to it. More of a grown up feel, soft and beautiful.

BTW... she is half Italian and half Icelandic but live in England. Interesting isn't it... there are lots good music from England. Oh! yeah she is kindna cute too.

Yup, that what happened with her first album back in 1999. People and critics couldn't help compare her to Bjork.

And to make it even sadder is that her first album of which is a great album for this type of music but it had pretty much gone unnoticed and didn't sell well.

Yes, Martin... she is cute and with sweet voice

A 5-star album...however my all-time fav. Ahmad Jamal album remains "... live at the Pershing: but not for me". I wore that LP out in the late 70's/early 80's, that was/is an amazing live album, its like you were there at the Pershing Lounge having a cocktail and listening to a magnificent trio.
