Weird George, just got all 3 of those.....the new Harper is nice. I think I prefer the first Matthews/Reynolds but haven't spent sufficient time with the new one yet ....
I agree that "Live at Luther College" (aka the first one) sounds better. It also has a better song selection. aa
The best show I ever heard or saw Dave/Tim play was at Eisenhower Hall at West Point. Not only were they on fire that night, but there were a few cool surprises. First, Stefan joined the guys on stage for quite a few songs. Secondly, John Popper from Blue Traveler joined the guys and jammed!! They played what seemed like a twenty minute "All Along the Watchtower" that brought the house down!
I agree that the new Ben Harper is quite good and it is quickly growing on me.
The new Ryan Adams' Easy Tiger is less "country" sounding than his last cd and is frankly way better. While not quite as good as his best stuff, I really like it.
Now if I can just find more time to get in front of the system...
