This was a fathers day gift. I'm still trying to decide whether it grabs me. There are certainly some strong portions of the album, though. And it seems really nicely produced.

Mhnn...take a couple of young hot musicians from Blur/ Gorillaz and the Verve, toss in a couple of veterans, from The Clash and afrobeat drum master Tony Allen...and you got a super quartet. Its an interesting album for sure, variety galore... hear for yourself:

Frankly, I am somewhat underwhelmed by this album... aside from a couple tracks, I get a ho-hum feeling...sounds dated to me.
