I just got this yesterday and I'm not sure what I think about it yet.

It is a departure from A Ghost is Born and YHF, but not really a return to the earlier sound of Being There or A.M. Nels Cline certainly does rock on some cuts.

Very fine recording... the 60's soulman's voice is very immediate... I can hear the recording space around the music. Notable duets with some of country's big stars, Dolly, Patty Griffin, Emmylou Harris...
