The LP's aren't really much better than the CD versions. Stellar music, but the sound is not great on any of the recordings I have. Nonetheless, good choices, Buddy.

I see.... sad isn't it?

The CDs sound so compressed.

I like their first and second albums.

I feel that they are one of the great modern Brit rock band of my own time.

Agreed. For those of you who like Oasis, some similar excellent bands from the Brit rock period are Suede, Supergrass, Pulp, Blur, Travis, and, more recently, the Libertines and Kasabian.
