Fusion. This music is forever identified with life in California... I remember hearing his first album many years ago while I was in the LA region, one of his tunes was frequently(played over and over) on the sooth jazz station my sister listened to. This second album was released in 2005... a lot more variety on it, and its a pleasant enough cd, in the 'smooth' jazz vein.
