Spent the afternoon playing the following:
1. Claude Chalhoub. Jazz/world
2. Mandrill, composite truth. Funk from the early 70's.
3. Prince, Come. One of my favorite Prince albums.
4. Bootsy Collins & Bootsy's New Rubber Band, keepin' dah funk alive4-1995. Live recording of the funk at Tokyo's Jungle CLub on June 24/25 1995. Simply smashing!

Wicked wicked wicked...I just love what Bill Laswell did with these electric excursions from the 70's, a period where I discovered Miles. A lot of my fellow Miles fans don't much care for his electric years, but I love that period, perhaps more than his earlier acoustic works.
