Sorry, you're asking the wrong guy -- I love everything Emmylou has done, and to me she wouldn't sound "funny" even if she were doing a sing along with Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Spyboy is a live album from the late 1990s -- issued in 1998, I think. It does sound different from All the Roadrunning, but I think that's mostly because of the difference between live and studio recordings and the fact that the mix on All the Roadrunning had to accommodate both her voice and Mark Knopfler's.

Some of the tracks are soooooo loud, talk about wall of sound/noise...but I do like her slower tunes with sparser instrumentations.
