How is the recording? I am very interested after Uncle Tupelo and Wilco...


I think all the remastered Uncle Tupelo cd's are quite good to excellent.  The Wilco's cd's are also very good to excellent.

The Son Volt cd's are good, but I prefer the music of Uncle Tupelo and Wilco over Son Volt.

As for the music, today I like Son Volt more than either Wilco or Uncle Tupelo. There was a time when that  was not the case. As for the recording quality, Trace is ok, Okemah and the Melody Riot is much better. It seems to me the mix on Trace leans too much on the guitars and leaves the vocal back almost with the drums.

I have good friends who are Uncle Tupelo fanatics - named their dogs "Uncle" and "Tupelo". Another friend named his dog "Wilco". I kid you not. They haven't tainted Son Volt for me yet. Though they probably will soon.

Arthur.....copy and paste....copy web address of photo....then paste between [ img ] bars......quote my post and take a look how I did it....(the image icon is the 2nd. from left,bottom line....above the smileys )

Thanks Chris....where'd you copy the picture from?  I know this isn't as hard as I'm making it..I get the insert image button from when I'm posting, but nothing seems to paste into it properly...

For the photo....you can grab from Amazon (open in a new window) or Google images....

I just went to Google Images....
Typed in Atomic Boom Boom.....
Several show up....
Clicked on one and clicked see full size image....
Copied that address (of full size image)....
Back to AC....click image icon......paste in between img markers.....and.....

.....here's your picture..... :thumb:
