I like Reiner's Ein Heldenleben. But for Also Sprach Zarathustra I prefer the Von Karajon recording:

The "S Club 7" I used to watch their show... a British show filmed in the US.... on and off back than. Don't remembered much about the show but their musics stuck in my head.

Well, here I am again with Brit pop.... seem like I'm a sucker when it come to catchy Brit pop tunes

While this is still my favorite Ben Harper cd, I have been listening a lot more to his other cd's, especially "Diamonds on the Inside". I highly recommend it.

Yes....thats a good cd as well. I have gone out a bought a few more of Ben's cd's....but his last one wasn't as good as the others....Both Sides Of The Gun....

His work with the Blind Boys is very good !!!!!

The music is best described as classical, played by a symphony orchestra and sung by opera singers. Nor does it contain an appearance by Waters as a performer. He is the composer, and he also co-produced the album. Ça Ira (the title "literally means 'it will go'" in French, notes Waters, though he provides the subtitle "There Is Hope") has been described as an opera, but, at least on record, it might better be called an oratorio.

So unless you like this genre, I probably wouldn't get it.

Oh, I know what it is, and I very much enjoy opera (although I lack the depth of knowlege and range of interests a true opera fan would have). I guess I've more wondered if he comes across as a dilettante or if he has a geniune understanding of the form. I've heard it holds up very well, and I believe it's about the French Revolution. I dunno why I'm such a cheapskate- $30 isn't a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, but it's a lot for a CD (or SACD).
