Hey!

Hmmm.... hard to label them, but I think it is closer to trip-hop/electronica music genre. Most of the  tracks are great but some are just weird. Overall a nice album with a smooth and soothing female vocalist. :D And the CD sounds pretty good too.

And the interesting part about this album is that I found this band on the Amazon.com That site is great for expolring new music and find some good unkown or obscured bands. :D

I like this latest album for them and I think I will check out thier older album soon. :D

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

LightFire,

How would you rate this for acoustic guitar and mandolin goodness? I don't worship Dylan but like several of his songs. What I want from this is the acoustic instrumentation, and a good recording of that, as well as listenability in general. Steve Howe plays these 2 acoustic solos I am familiar with on Yes Album, "Clap" (should not have been "The Clap") and on Fragile, "Mood for a Day". I am looking for some more of his acoustic playing in the spotlight.

For emotional impact Maceo Parker's "Roots Revisited" Track 2- "Children's World"  If you like sax.
Also, if you have ever been to an audio show you will know this one, I introduced this to Pipedreams and Bobby Palkovic of Merlin audio several years ago at a Stereophile show at the Palmer House in Chicago Il.  This recording was played so much at ensuing shows and audio demoes it was reissued and included in some compilations by audiophile companies; Hugh Masekela's "Hope"  "The Train Song".  It is probably already listed on one of the other pages.
