I think I will end tonight listening session with this...

A collection of Saint Etienne from 1990-2005 I got this on LP vinyl... I'm glade that they released this on vinyl since thier early and most album are now hard to find on vinyl.

Hey!

Ahhh... another great fun Swedish band.

I'm spinning all the Cardigans albums I have.

"Life" Got this on UK LP.This is thier earlier album. A sweet pop/rock album. I just love her cute vocal on this one.

"First Band On The Moon" Again on UK LP. This is the album that got the US and the rest of the world attention. Also, thanks to the movie "Romeo and Juliet" with Leonado DeCaprio in 1997(?) of which the song "Lovefool" was used in the soundtrack.

Remember the lead singer Nina as a blue eyed blond in the "Lovefool" music video? Oh! man! who could resist a pretty gril like that singing "Love me, love me..."?

"Gran Turismo" Got this on Simply Vinyl LP. Right after the album above Cardigans trys to reinvent themsleve as a more hardcore rock band from what most people remember their as the sugrary rock band. Well, it is harder but not so much. Still this is a great album with many of my favorite tracks on this one.

So, here to me this is another great Swedish band... well I think you know what is the other one.

Since then they have released 2 more albums I think of which I haven't bought yet. Still waiting to see if there are going to release them on vinyl... of which at this point I don't think they will

Anyway I will always remember them as a sugary rock band with a pretty lead singer with sweet voice

cd, not vinyl.... I thought about getting it on vinyl but I haven't set my TT back up...currently it is getting some 'work done'.

I dig the CD! My kind of music. I got the Arctic Monkies disc you rec'd today and it will probably go in next (giving Raconteurs a second spin right now).
