I wish people would give it a rating on how audiophile quality it is... whether or not it is a good album is more up for debate.

Why not just simply go to www.allmusic.com and check out the rating and read their review?

George

I just checked it out and it appears they have no rating for quality of recording.

Gee.....didn't  I already say that....about 10 hrs earlier?!

More Power Pop.  This time from Memphis, TN and is the best band no one knows about IMO.  Super influential to the Replacements, Tom Petty, and REM.

The expanded Beach Boys' Pet Sounds box I got a few years ago is one of my favorites. I especially like the disc with the instrument tracks only and the pre-final mixes, a great way to hear more of how the creative process for this music evolved.

Is that , basically , the Stack-O-Tracks album that was released in the 60's ?

No, it was a specail CD box set commerating the 35th anniversary of the original album's release. It had four CDs, plus an excellent booklet discussing the history of the band, espcially relating to "Pet Sounds" and the supposed conflict between the Beach Boys and the Beatles.

Yeah, I have that as well.  I'm a big fan of the album and I actually like listening to the instrumental tracks the most of of that.  It's some pretty amazing stuff. 8)

Nathaniel Rosen - Cello

"Chamber music with an attitude".  Not your typical classic and modern duos for violin and cello.  Audiophile quality recording - excellent for equipment reviewing purposes.
