However that cd was culled from JAZZFM radio listenner favorites of the 10pm to 1am programming session.
Well, its gettin' early into the wee hours, so gotta tone the sounds down some...here is a Finnish duo, piano and drums/percussions, new cd. They will be performing at Cobi's Place on Saturday the 13th of May. Cobi's Place is located at 158 West 48th Street (between 6th & 7th Avenues) in New York City. Sets are: 8PM & 9:30PM.

Great jazz station!
I listened to it all the time when I lived in the W. Village.

90.7 WFUV FM is another awesome station.

Happily, even out here on LI, my Carver tuner still pulls both of them quite strongly!

Sadly, these two stations, plus a few classical ones, are about all that's left in the area as far as quality programming is concerned.

Yeah, it's pretty much a wasteland here in terms of non-clearchannel entertainment. Satellite radio is soooooo much better in terms of programming.

Since I like Jazz, NYC has at least two FM radio choices ,WBGO and WKCR...couple that with WFMU which is freeform, who needs to listen2 fastfoodradiowiththeirtapeloopedprogram ming.

anybody else notice that sometimes the thread page number shows some weird sequences, like page 59 of 58??? Been noticing that for the past few days...weird.
Just noticed also that my pm post is appearing before the am posts.
Wow, now my Monday post is appearing as a Sunday post...yesterday is now today, and today yesterday.
