Blur is a great brit-pop band. Song #2, which lonewolf refers to, is actually atypical for a Blur tune. However, the "woooo hoooooo" song is how they are known here in the U.S.

They were a pretty much 'big fun' band to see, and good at their flavor of 'southern/country rock' (for lack of a better term.) Had a couple friends in college that had done high school with a couple of the members of the original band, and we would truck around Illinois catching them when we could, partying afterwards. They DID know how to party!

Saw the existing version a couple of years ago, and they do their 'thing' well; enjoyed them better than the last time I saw Poco. I'm trying to get myself pumped up enough to go see 'em this weekend in St. Louis.

It takes a lot to get my ass psyched to go 'out' anymore...
