My biggest criticism is a lot of the songs are really short. I think they could have reduced the song count and extended the stronger tracks, but I say that about a lot of albums I own. I listened to it while doing some jobs around the house, so listening to it in the sweet spot won't happen until tomorrow. Hopefully I'll still be as positive about it.

Dead Can Dance is one of my favorite bands. I found them after reading a glowing review of "Into the Labyrinth". I rushed out and bought it, put it in the player and said "WTF is this?". I couldn't stand it. I put it on the shelf and forgot about it. About five years later I was at an audio store (remember those?) and heard "The Carnival is Over" on a large pair of Magnepans. My knees buckled. At that moment I became a super-fan. I bought all of their albums and all the solo and band-related splinter albums. "Towards The Within" is in my top 5 live concert discs. It's incredible if you haven't seen it. Thanks for taking me down memory lane!
