This update was totally unexpected. Denafrips released the 12th anniversary firmware about a month ago. I thought it sounded good, but some complained that the midrange and upper bass was a bit thin, so they released this today. It's a nice improvement. Like going from a modern Psvane 12AU7 to a vintage Mullard. Good on Denafrips for listening!
