Don't leave us hanging Paul, and the verdict was..........?  Nice review on the B.M.C. btw. Got me thinking since it's multi-purpose, could serve as a backup pre.

Hi Arthur,

Thanks.  The verdict is still out though I'm leaning for it.  I'll be borrowing an iFi phono pre from a friend in a couple of weeks to help make my decision.  Btw, I'm getting a bunch of other devices from iFi for my next review.

I should really be  looking  at this too as my aunt has  a big box or  LP's for me ( both hers and my grandfater's)  ,  I have NO IDEA  what migh be in the box, could be interesting

Yes, great  times.  Man, I rember buying my first "stereo"  in about the mid 70s,  an old (well brand new then) LLoyds  turntable/tuner combo with  2 pretty aweful speakers  , sure thought it was cool then though.  If I remeber right,  I collected bottles and pushed a mower around to make the $$
