Manic Street Preachers  -  Rewind The Film     2013

Uncharacteristic of the Manics' output to this point but an album which grows on you with each listening. The title track shows the band is still capable of epic songwriting without the bombast they are so fond of - who knew ? The Manic's 11th album is a major departure that ends up being worth the trip.
Well worth seeking out.

Took me a little bit to get into Radiohead, honestly, but I think they are amongst the greatest bands of the earlier 2000s at the very least.   The bends is a good start.   OK Computer is just a touch less accessible on first listen.

Strange how some groups deliver unique, esoteric music that can be brilliant in many ways yet our ability to appreciate eludes us.

Yes sir! Love that reply FireGuy! Radiohead, Mercury Rev, The Flaming Lips - all very f-ing brilliant! Some of us eventually find them and appreciate their brilliance  8)
