Found it Sunday for only $5. I haven’t looked it up on eBay or Discogs but I thought $5 seemed awfully cheap. Guess I should go look it up.

You got a good price. Looks like it's around $40 on Amazon (used). I've never seen it in the used stores I shop at. Nice find!

Vicky Leandros is a Greek singer who lives in Germany but primarily sang in French but also recorded in Greek, German, English, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch. She was born Vasiliki Papathanasiou, but shortened her first name and used her father's first name as her surname. She never really made a dent in the U.S., but her "l'amour est bleu" was a big hit in 1967, especially in Canada and Japan. A 1968 instrumental version of "l'amour est bleu" by Paul Mauriat was and still is the only hit by a French artist to reach #1 in the U.S. It has been covered in English by Al Martino, Marty Robbins, The Dells, Sylvie Vartan, and Jeff Beck (!); Claudine Longet in French; and many others in a number of languages.

Leandros is 71 and still performing.
