Samsara Blues Experiment - Long Distance Trip

German band plays stoner/psychedelic/sludgy/bluesy/trippy/heavy/dark music. Listened late last night but had no laptop to post, so am now. Only had time to spin one more CD after this as it was late, but was not sure how to follow up on this. Thought perhaps Miles Davis' "Bitches Brew" (continue down the path of darkness) or Material's "Hallucination Engine" (continue tripping) but didn't want to evoke any nightmares so selected Carlos Santana / John McLaughlin "Love Devotion Surrender" which was a perfect followup and finish to an evening of pure musical joy.

I had this in my Wishlist for a while, but I was wanting the CD/Bluray combo pack. The other day amazon had the combo pack for a little over $5. I pulled the trigger. I am at work now, so I am just listening to the CD. Will listen to the Blu-ray in surround later. Guess there is a glut of the albums.
