Some fine sounding female vocalists (and composers) . .

"Tell Me I'm Not Dreaming" from Sara K. on a Chesky release and "Blue Light 'Til Dawn" by Cassandra Wilson on Blue Note. Now, the former label is well known for quality sound but the latter isn't in particular. Well, fuggetabout that. Great engineering on BOTH. Very fine intimacy from the singers and original songwriting you must enjoy. You'll like that 3D imagery roundness and separation, too.
