I don't know whether this makes much sense to anyone else, but (to me) John Coltrane always sounds very human. Listening to him gives me such great hope, because he appears as a shining example of just how great a human can be.

I think everyone should be listening to Coltrane tonight.

Lyle Lovett and his Large Band - It's Not Big It's Large. Get the Deluxe Version that includes a DVD.
Mastering could be better, but music is fantastic.

Please remember that this thread is enjoyed by many, including the sight impaired who rely on screen readers to follow along. Screen readers cannot interpret graphics like album art images, they need some accompanying text i.e. artist name and album title, otherwise your post just comes up as a blank!

Shelby Lynne - Suit Yourself is a fantastic record. Well recorded, and her voice is captivating. Her latest record, Just A Little Lovin' is a Dusty Springfield tribute, also great, and Stereophile record of the month FWIW.
