What are you listening to right now?

I "think" you'll like it . If you like Mark Knopfler on his own some of it is quite similar. Great tone . I like the entire album but tracks 2, 3, and 4 are killer . I don't think he is overly well known, believe he was from Vancouver , I think that album was actually recorded in Van too..... vocals are a bit distant on the recording but the music is spot on
Actually, just had a look at Wiki, interesting. I had no idea he wrote the Rodeao song

Yep Captnh, I checked it out earlier this morning. Had the same thought about a little Dire Straits, but lighter, and Mark K, also heard a little JJ Cale in there. Very nice. It will be added to the wishlist. Thanks for the intro.

Not familiar with this one either, but will check it out. Been meaning to expand her section since I picked up a Wynton Marsalis with her on it. If you like a broad spectrum of styles you might look into this Reeltime . It's the only Wynton I have, but the cut Rosewood is worth the CD. Some jazz, some blues, some gospel, and some good ole NO stuff as well.
