Dianne Reeves-  That Day (Blue Note).  Oh, and thanks, somebody, you know who you are, for turning me on to the Gotan Project.  I ordered that bad boy.  That Day is real fine, yo.

Listening to John Maus album Love is Real. 80s style tec-pop with dark baroque cathedral organ ,sounds darkish ,spooky and its very well done.Picture of a robot devil thing playing a violin on a silver cover. Sorry I couldnt figure out how to get a picture of the cover on here yet!

I watched a documentary on the IFC channel called Before The Music Dies.  Wow.  Maybe some of you have seen this.  At the end, Doyle Bramhall is singing a number with the chorus of "I'm a fool for you".  Man, it cut me to the bone.  I could really feel this.  So I went on Amazon and but couldn't find this song on any of the samples I heard.  Anybody know the name of this song and where it might be?  Any Doyle Bramhall fans around?

My first play is just winding up now, first impression is I really like it!  Not like the first with the purist single mike recording, this one was multi miked for the dvd and 24/96 for the cd but, the guests work really well and the interpretations are much more mature, the styling/improv more intense if anything!  Natalie is especially good on Walking/Midnight.  :thumb:
