Hi! I order or pre-order 50-80 new discs from various audiophile stores (Music Direct, Acoustic Sounds, Elusive Disc) and buy around 200-300 used discs from various locations (eBay, Amazon, Half Price Books) every year. I used to post my purchases on the "Latest music you've picked up..." thread, but it was too difficult to keep up with.
I don't keep records of every purchase but I likely bought it from Music Direct about 4 years ago around Christmas time. It was $24.99 or something close to that. I'm pretty sure it was Music Direct because they offer free shipping for orders over $99 at Christmas. The disc was limited release and the Steve Hoffman remastered version I posted is officially retired. You can still find new copies on eBay for $45-$70. This version is superior in every was to my shrill sounding ATCO original so it's worth the money in my opinion. I have a bunch of pre orders coming in October from Elusive Disc and Burning Shed (UK).
Collecting rare music is one of my few hobbies.
