You don't know me - Album "Transa", by Caetano Veloso. If you do not know Caetano, he is one of the exponents of Brazilian Popular Music. I would say he is a mixture of Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and Neil Young. This "Transa" (1972) is a good way to get to know Caetano, and it much better (sonics and music) than "A foreign Sound", where you may listen to Caetano's style performing several well known American songs. http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=1375221&style=music
I enjoy "A Bossa de Caetano" which is a very soft album, with a selection from several music from of his other CDs and live presentations. Interesting is his rendering of Michael Jackson's song Billy Jean following by Eleanor Rigby on # 10. IMO Transa album is a much better CD, as he had top brazilian talent on the drums and guitars, who went to London to record that album with him.
...Edit: Northstar, I couldn't improve on that album cover
