You know how it is, seldom do you like every selection on an album and this is no exception for me. But, one track in particular, A Life Divine, makes up for it large. Four drummers are credited with playing on this album and they must all be on this one cut! Kudos to bass player Doug Rauch for bringing up the rear. I don't think he lived long after making this. The energy here is just out of this frickin world.

PS- John Coltrane's A Love Supreme isn't far behind. Then, his Naima lets you down sweetly.

I have her Angels Running album thanks to visiting this circle a ways back and "Helen" is a song from it with lyrics that paint pictures you can really feel.
