Hey, finally got a chance to listen to this album and crank it up. Some great tracks... going to have to check out some more albums 
She's a tour de force, alright. Island, the label, picked her up and gave her some pretty lavish production on later albums. However, Island's first release of PJ, Rid of Me, is raw like this. Saw her once on Letterman a few years back. She appeared solo and was dressed in a Victorian like, white lacey looking very trim outfit with only an autoharp and a tiny foot organ. You could hear a pin drop. She was mesmerizing. Glad you like her.
