I saw this band when they were touring in support of this album as part of one of those 4-band flying circus tours that Motorhead periodically brings through these parts. I recall Woody Weatherman spending pretty much their entire set staring up at the ceiling of the 1920's-vintage 1500-seater the concert was staged at, seemingly mezmerized...In all fairness, the hall was restored some years ago and they did a hell of a job on that ceiling but...
After C.O.C.'s set, I was in the beer line listening to a couple of guys discussing how Corrosion Of Conformity had been
waaayyy louder than Motorhead was going to be. Lemmy set them straight soon enough. Volume as an actual
physical phenomenon is something that needs to be experienced as opposed to described in order to gain a true understanding. It was almost frightening...
