Funny how all the music chosen is contemporary for a setting that happened almost a hundred years ago. Then again, after seeing the movie trailer a few weeks ago, this remake is so modern hollywood and fake that maybe the music is appropriate. I read and enjoyed the book, and the trailer doesn't at all capture the spirit of the characters or times of the period.
Some of the music was made to seem period, but much of it was not. I just watched The Hunger Games. I think for that movie I liked the soundtrack better than the movie.
