System Of A Down - Steal This Album 2002

Eine kline nachtmuzik.

An out-takes record with songs culled from a seven-year period but it holds up really well. Worth owning just for the sinister Mr. Jack...Memorable songs often evoke a mood. This one sure does. Steal This Album is the sound of a band which has already left its contemporaries ( the nu-metal class of the late nineties ) choking on it's dust preparing to up their game to an even-higher level. Next stop : the stunning Hypnotize / Mezmerize magnum opus and a long hiatus.
