Hey!

Just got this last week... on LPs. They are on white vinyl... kindna pretty actually, seeing the black Rega arm with blue bodied Benz "ACE" on it. :D

Anyway, not bad. Make a good chill out album for a stormy weather this evening. Although I think I like their previous album "Walkie Talkie" better.

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

Adam was the keyboard genius behind the Miles late 80's sound.
This here is some tight fusion. Might be hard to find since its out of print.

I'm listening in to a conference call, work ya' know.

But in the background I have the new Spock's Beard CD (SB) playing. At least until I have to speak up for my portion of the meeting.

Enjoy,
Bob

I've listened to this everyday this week. I can't remember the last time an album has done this to me.

Nobody I know has ever heard of him, and I only came across his music by chance.  All his other albums are modern R&B, but The Lost Album is a total throwback to more of a 70's vibe - heavy on Beach Boys, Crosby Stills & Nash and Todd Rundgren, with a minor dose of Hendrix here and there too.

Here's a review of the album that explains it better than I can:

Only caveat  is that it took quite awhile for it to grow on me, but I've come to LOVE this album.  If you are any kind of Beach Boys fan, try listening to "Say I Love You", especially the last minute and tell me it doesn't make you feel extra good.
