Elton John - Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy 1975 ( 2004 SACD re-issue )

The first album to ever enter the Billboard charts at #1 and the last hurrah for the original Elton John Band. Say what you will about what Elton has become, back in the day, at the peak of their powers ( and under a contract which compelled Elton & Bernie to release two albums a year ), respect must be paid. If you ever get the chance to hear the "Deluxe Edition " of this album, it includes a live CD where Elton & his new band ( which appeared for the first time on Rock Of The Westies) plus Jeff "Skunk" Baxter on pedal steel play this album in it's entirety front to back just before it's actual release in a concert at Hyde Park - great fun.

Mike Nock: Ondas

A sort of variation of Keith jarrett's style of piano playing.
Most of Nock's Lps suck as 'elevator quality' new age piano, but the Ondas is much better.
Next in line are a few Shadowfax Lps. (to decide if i want to keep or toss. Watercourse, to Far, and Dreams.) The two main Shadowfax Lps; Shadowfax, and Shadowdance seem good enough to be keepers...
