Pretty much my favorite, though Demons & Wizards comes real close. Still have that vinyl.
OK, so I get home from a friends house this evening and sit in front of my stereo for 8 straight hours listening to albums. I'm a firm believer in listening all the way through an album and if I can't because the content isn't good enough, that CD/LP is immediately sold. My system is by far the most emotionally compelling I've owned and brings me back to the days when I used to listen to album after album on my very modest stereo back in college. I didn't really care about high end back then, though I've been raised with high end gear since I was born- my Dad is a longtime audiophile and former dealer. Anyway, I digress. What I listened to this evening:The Beatles Abbey Road LPThe Strokes- First Impressions on Earth LPGrateful Dead American Beauty LPMozart Flute Concertos Zuckerman Flute LPBrahms Piano Concerto #1 Brendel- CDMiles Davis Milestones CDJay Z The Blueprint CDFiona Apple Extraordinary Machine LPThe Libertines LPDaryl Hall & John Oates Rock & Soul Part I LPHi Fi Espanola LPBlur Modern Life is Rubbish CDOasis Definitley Maybe LPWhat a killer session. This, my friends, is what it's all about- at least to me.PS- shouldn't a "What are you listening to" thread be a sticky on this circle?
