I was stationed in Spain during the early/mid 80's, but Spanish listening habits were totally different than what they were listening to up north. I was introduced to some pretty good music, but not the darker stuff I tend to listen to now. I missed out on an entire genre of music, but playing catch-up can be fun too. Globe of Frogs was my first Robyn Hitchcock disc too. I heard Balloon Man on WHFS in D.C. and have been a huge fan ever since.

I discovered so much new, strange (at the time) music during that mid 80s timeframe working at the record shop. It was fantastic. Picked up that Seance CD by The Church back then too. Stupidly, I sold it on ebay several years ago. Globe of Frogs didnt turn out to be my favorite Hitchcock release, but I'm still a huge fan too.
