Had a 3 hour session playing vinyl...

Started off with Narada Michael Walden...Awakening LP from 1979...a little dated sound but nice to hear his drumming, notable guests were Carlos Santana, Airto, Hiram Bullock, Brecker Brothers and Ray Gomez.
Then I continued with his 1983 LP, Looking at you, Looking at me...no pic available... I bought this LP at Woolworth for $1(sticker still on the plastic cover)....remember when Woolworth had those bargin bins near the front of the store? Man, I remember picking up dozens of LPs from those. A pity he didn't pursue the jazz/rock/funk thing after his stint with Mahavishnu Orchestra.

I loved Lenny White drumming while he was with Return to Forever, and after. Lots of big names backing him up here: Marcus Miller, Bill Laswell, Bernard Wright...

After many years of solitary "retirement", he returned with Michel Petrucciani(p), Palle Danielsson (b), and Son Ship Theus (d) at Montreux Jazz Festival 1982.
I also revisited a couple of SunRa's albums, these were LPs purchased at his gigs back in the mid 80's, one with just a blank white cover, and the other with a black cover...lol, I found it pretty weird then, but then hey, its all about the music...we travel the spaceways... from planet to planet...interstellar low ways...call it anything like the man said.
